Intermediate: Visualisation for Designers
2 days + 1 optional
This
art is now a cornerstone of many designers
commercial output. As the competition gets better, we
need to as well. Communicating our ideas and concepts has
always been central to the designers function. We need to
step up or get out. |
Course content:
Cameras:
We look at setting up the right shot, safe frames
and quick renders.
Output resolution:
Getting the right size for the printer or
publisher will determine how your visual looks to
the customer in print.
PhotoShop:
Using an extra tool to fine tune all your hard
work. There is nothing more important. You
cant go anywhere if your car doesnt
have wheels.
Lights:
Make the decision from an informed pov. Or even
use two different styles.
Materials:
When it matters, use the right tool. We look at
getting your standards right, for now and for the
future.
FinalGather:
We discuss when to FG and when to draft. This
awareness will give you more time to focus on the
important stuff.
Global Illumination:
Its like a kiss, sometimes its appropriate and
sometimes ... we look at its benefits.
Beauty Passes:
Once thought of as cheating now sits
as the must do element of 3D visuals.
A bit like airbrushing the front cover model, but
more acceptable.
Composition:
You need to know the rules, so lets discuss
them and see what difference it makes.

Location.
The
great advantage of one to one training is that training
can be at either your location or ours.
We can travel to anywhere in Europe for your convenience,
arrange training rooms in London or you can come here to
CUK in Oxfordshire. Your choice. |
